Clinical and preclinical image analytics

Our image analysis laboratory provides advanced solutions for processing and quantifying imaging data from both preclinical and clinical studies. We are equipped with specialized workstations and software for analyzing MRI, PET, SPECT, CT, and other molecular imaging modalities.

We offer comprehensive support for tissue segmentation, signal quantification, longitudinal analysis, and 3D model generation, ensuring accurate and reproducible results. Our team combines expertise in bioinformatics, medical physics, and biomedical sciences to optimize image interpretation and facilitate translational research.

The platform of preclinical imaging analytics at CIC biomaGUNE provides the computational infrastructure required for the reconstruction, processing and imaging analysis. Working on different operating systems, the platform includes 3 PMOD licenses for co-registration, segmentation, and quantification of multimodal images. The platform also works with Matlab, FSL and IDL licenses in the development of analysis and processing algorithms.

Includes the analysis of images acquired by the Echocardiography, MRI, PET and Computed Tomography teams. There are different validated softwares available for analysis, developed both by the CNIC and by commercial (i.e. EchoPAC for Echocardiography, QMASS for Resonance, Resonance Qlab-Philips, PET and CT). The form and analysis system will be adapted to each study by direct communication between the researcher and those responsible for the analysis at CNIC.

Laboratory of biomedical computational

Laboratory of biomedical computational images with high performance computing (HPC) servers equipped with graphics processing unit (GPU) cards Tesla K-40. Also includes advanced software solutions for radiological and imaging biomarkers.
